Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers comfortable and clean rooms, with exceptionally helpful and accommodating service. Its ideal location makes it perfect for exploring the town center and local attractions. The dining experience, while having certain highlights, could benefit from improvements. Overall, it provides good value for money with lovely facilities.
The hotel is conveniently located near Barnstaple's center, making it a great base for exploring the region. The rooms, though clean and well-equipped, had some noise from the bathroom waste pipes. The service was friendly and accommodating. The dining options were varied and enjoyable, with freshly cooked meals. The location offers easy access to restaurants and pubs in the town center.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms on the top floor were spotless, very comfy, and had everything we needed, providing a high standard of decoration. However, my room on the 2nd floor was also decorated nicely but didn't offer the same huge space. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful, especially after a long walk from Croyde Bay. They even contacted me beforehand to ensure my comfort. Despite the ongoing traffic noise, the location was very convenient, close to the town center and transport links. The dining experience could have been better with a slightly limited breakfast layout, although the range offered was good. Overall, it was a decent stay with some minor drawbacks.
